                  Church Worship...Witnessing
                        Obedience to Lord
      Satan looks for weak spot
            Quietly & sneakily worms his way in
(Proverbs 14:12 "There is a way that seems right to man, but the end thereof are the ways of death")
            Wants to keep you out of heaven
            has many tools he uses to tear down spiritual house

2. Horoscopes...Astrology...Zodiac Signs
      $200 million a year business
      people read horoscopes in newspapers - some pay to have life mapped by stars
            advice & predictions based on position of stars & planets
            astrology based in ancient belief that stars & planets move around earth
            we know planets move around sun, stars move around center of their galaxies
      Isaiah 43:13,14 "Let now the astrologers, the star gazers and monthly prognasticators, stand up and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. Behold they shall be as stubble, the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame.
      If people ask your "sign"...tell them it's 'the cross' of Jesus

3. Drugs...Inc. Tobacco and Alcohol
      1 Cor 3:16 & 17 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, shall God destroy. Let no man deceive himself."
      'defile'...to make foul, dirty, polluted or tainted
      Drugs (inc alcohol & tobacco) damage body, can cause personality changes, mimics mental illness
      Why do people try them? Excitement and Pleasure
             2 Tim 3:4,5 "Lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God: from such turn away."
      Satan still like the serpent he was when he beguiled Eve with the apple
            Serpent said "Your eyes shall be opened" "You'll be as gods"
            Today through pushers & users, Satan says "It'll open your eyes...help you feel closer to God
                  Satan hasn't changed much has he?
            Don't let him trap you!

4. Demons...the devil's angels
      Are they real? Jesus believed in them and they knew him
            He cast them out
      Exodus 20:3,5 "Thou shalt have no other gods before me...for I the Lord your God am a jealous god"
      We are to ask God, not ouiji boards, fortunetellers, or seances
      Spirits that are conjured are not the dead they claim to be
            Ecclesiastes 9:5,6 tells us dead do not return
      Bible forbids witchcraft
            Galations 5:19-21 "Now the works of the flesh are menifest, which are these:... idolatry, witchcraft...They which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God."
      Some say they are white or good witches...God says none inherit heaven

5. Conclusion
      Demons are real, Satan is real...Waiting to catch you in his trap
      God is real, Christ is real...Died to protect you from Satan, his traps and hell
      Christ doesn't want you to worry about these things
            he just wants you to avoid them like the plague
            Look to Him for direction in your life
      If God does not fill your life...Satan will sneak in one way or another
      God will not lead you wrong....Turn your life over to him.
